Dr. Darwin Anderson worked for many years for the Saskatchewan Soil Survey before joining the Department of Soil Science as a Professor and Head of the Department. Dr. Anderson has extensive field experience in all regions of the province and has a special interest in soil organic matter dynamics in soils.
Dr. Dan Pennock is a Professor of Soil Science and a specialist in landscape-scale pedology. His research has included work on soil erosion, precision farming, the effects of clear-cut forestry on soils, greenhouse gas emissions from soils and wetlands, and soil-groundwater interactions.
