The first step in sustainable use of Saskatchewan’s soil resource is to understand the nature of our soils, their distribution, and the environmental factors responsible for their development. Providing this understanding is our goal in this website.

The original funding for this project came from the Capling Trust Fund administered by the College of Agriculture and Bioresources of the University of Saskatchewan.
